Dr. Joel Bergman EdD, LMHC, CAP, SAP

Joel has worked in the field of addiction for the past 19 years. He does this because he has a passion for treating those who suffer from the disease of addiction. This includes not only the person who is using but their family and friends who are affected by this disease as well. He also works with patients who suffer from both substance abuse and mental health issues. He believes that if we do not treat both diseases, people will not fully recover.

Joel is a Certified Addiction Professional and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. He received his master's degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2011 from Springfield College, in Tampa. He has worked for several addiction and mental health treatment facilities in both New York and Florida.
